Theosis Higher Institute (THI) is honored to announce the inaugural edition of its Intensive Theological Formation in the United States – THI Special Session USA 2026.

Taking place from August 23-28, 2026, at the beautiful Potomac Park Retreat and Conference Center in Falling Waters, West Virginia, this six-day residential gathering will bring together students, ministers, and believers from across the United States and abroad for an immersive experience of theological learning, spiritual formation, and Christian fellowship.

This Theosis Special Session is designed for those who desire to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith and engage more intentionally with the theological vision of Theosis Higher Institute. Through intensive teaching sessions, meaningful discussions, and shared community life, participants will have the opportunity to grow intellectually, spiritually, and relationally.

More than an academic gathering, this Special Session is an invitation to be deeply formed in the ancient apostolic and patristic vision of the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His saving work in the cosmos. À l’heure où les nations Africaines s’engagent sur des voies complexes en direction de la modernisation, tout en étant confrontées à des traditions profondément enracinées, il n’a jamais été aussi pertinent d’aborder l’intersection entre la foi et l’identité. Ce symposium vise à offrir une plateforme rigoureuse pour analyser les rôles historiques et contemporains de l’Église Chrétienne dans l’éducation et le développement national, en particulier au Cameroun et plus globalement en Afrique.

Ce Symposium Théologique sur l’Ecclésiologie et l’Anthropologie Culturelle vise à réunir des universitaires, des chercheurs, des étudiants de troisième cycle en théologie, des théologiens et des membres du clergé. Le symposium souhaite favoriser l’engagement et la discussion scientifiques sur les rôles historiques et contemporains de l’Église Chrétienne dans l’éducation et le développement national, en particulier au Cameroun et plus largement en Afrique.

Objectifs du Symposium

Les participants seront invités à répondre à une question centrale : Comment le passé de l’Église peut-il contribuer à un avenir durable et culturellement enrichissant pour les Nations africaines ?

Au-delà de la présentation des contributions, cet événement vise à favoriser la création d’un réseau de collaboration entre le monde académique et le clergé, afin de garantir que la réflexion théologique conduise à une transformation sociétale tangible.

Consignes de soumission

Nous encourageons les soumissions de chercheurs confirmés et nous nous engageons tout particulièrement à offrir une tribune aux étudiants de troisième cycle en Théologie, en Ecclésiologie et en Anthropologie Culturelle pour qu’ils puissent présenter leurs récents travaux de recherche.

Les auteurs sont invités à soumettre des manuscrits originaux et inédits, en français ou en anglais. Ces soumissions ne doivent pas avoir été publiées auparavant ni être en cours d’évaluation pour publication ailleurs. Veuillez soumettre un fichier électronique contenant soit un résumé (une page maximum), soit un projet de recherche (cinq pages maximum, à interligne simple), incluant le titre de l’article et vos coordonnées complètes.

Biographie: Un bref CV ou une brève biographie (150 mots maximum)

Structure recommandée

Le document doit de préférence être divisé en plusieurs sections : Introduction ; Méthodologie de Recherche ; Résultats ; Discussion. La numérotation décimale doit être utilisée pour indiquer la hiérarchie des divisions et des subdivisions, sans dépasser trois niveaux. Les auteurs sont priés de respecter les règles d’orthographe et de grammaire.

Titre

Le titre doit être concis et clair, d’une longueur maximale de trois lignes ou 20 mots. Il doit représenter fidèlement le sujet de l’article et être cohérent avec les questions posées en introduction et les réponses apportées en conclusion. Le titre doit être en police Times New Roman, taille 14, et en majuscules. Une version en Anglais du titre doit être inscrite en dessous de la version en Français.

Auteurs

Les titres (par exemple, Prof., Dr.) doivent précéder le(s) nom(s) et prénom(s) de l’auteur (des auteurs) et doivent être en Times New Roman, taille 12, en minuscules et alignés à gauche. Les données de contact des auteurs (affiliation institutionnelle, adresse professionnelle et adresse e-mail) doivent être écrites en Times New Roman, taille 10, en italique et alignées à gauche.

Introduction

L’introduction doit présenter clairement le problème de recherche, illustré par les citations scientifiques les plus récentes et les plus pertinentes (au moins cinq). Theosis Higher Institute is pleased to invite academic researchers, theologians, cultural anthropologists, and graduate research students to submit paper proposals for our upcoming 2026 Symposium on ecclesiology and cultural anthropology.

At a time when African nations are navigating complex paths toward modernization while grappling with deep-rooted traditions, the intersection of faith and identity has never been more relevant. This symposium seeks to provide a rigorous platform for analyzing the historic and contemporary roles of the Christian Church in education and national development, specifically within the Cameroonian and broader African landscapes.

Core Research Tracks
We welcome submissions that offer original insights, case studies, or theoretical frameworks in the following areas:

Cultural Anthropology: Investigating the human condition and social structures within the African context.
Migration and Diaspora: Examining the impact of displacement and movement on faith communities and national identity.
Traditional Religious Practices: Analyzing the dialogue (or tension) between indigenous African belief systems and Christian orthodoxy.

This Theological Symposium on Ecclesiology and Cultural Anthropology aims to bring together academics, researchers, postgraduate research students of theological institutions, theologians, and clergy. The symposium seeks to foster scholarly engagement and discussion on the historic and contemporary roles of the Christian Church in education and national development, specifically within the Cameroonian and broader African landscapes.

Symposium Objectives

Participants will be tasked with answering a central question: How can the Church’s past inform a sustainable and culturally resonant future for the African nation? Beyond the presentation of papers, this event aims to foster a collaborative network between the academy and the clergy, ensuring that theological reflection leads to tangible societal transformation.

Submission Guidelines

We encourage submissions from established scholars and are particularly committed to providing a stage for graduate research students in Theology, Ecclesiology, and Cultural Anthropology to present their emerging research.

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts in either French or English. These submissions must not have been previously published nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Kindly submit an electronic file containing either an abstract (maximum one page) or a research project (maximum five pages, single-spaced), including the title of the paper and full contact details.

Abstract Length: 250 – 300 words

Text Formatting: The main text must be typed on a PC using Microsoft Word software, with the following specifications:

- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.
- Line Spacing: Single.
- Length: Maximum 5 pages.

Tables, Diagrams, and Images: Tables, diagrams, images, and other additions should ideally be inserted directly within the text or placed in appendices. Sections should be numbered hierarchically (e.g., 1., 1.1., 1.1.1., etc.).

- Author’s Name: Times New Roman, size 14, bold.

Recommended Structuring

The text should preferably be divided into the following sections: Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; and Discussion. Decimal numbering should be used to indicate the hierarchy of divisions and subdivisions, not exceeding three levels. Authors are strongly urged to adhere to proper spelling and grammatical rules.

Titles

The title should be concise and clear, with a maximum length of three lines or 20 words. It should accurately reflect the subject of the article and align with the questions posed in the introduction and the answers provided in the conclusion. The title should be in Times New Roman font, size 14, and in uppercase. An English version of the title should be written below the French version.

Authors

Titles (e.g., Prof., Dr.) should precede the surname(s) and first name(s) of the author(s) and should appear in Times New Roman, size 12, lowercase, and left-aligned. Authors’ contact details (institutional affiliation, professional address, and e-mail address) should be written in Times New Roman, size 10, italics, and left-aligned.

Introduction

The introduction should clearly present the research problem, supported by the most recent and relevant scientific citations (at least five). The objectives of the study must be clearly stated. The text should be written in clear and understandable scientific language.

Materials and Methods

This section should provide a sufficiently detailed description of the methodological approach, including: the type of study; a description of the study population; the data and techniques used for data collection; the main and secondary variables studied; and the statistical analysis methods employed.

Results

Section titles should be left-aligned, without indentation, and use decimal numbering. Level 1 Titles should be in Times New Roman, bold, with 6 points of spacing before and after. Level 2 Titles should be in Times New Roman, bold italics, with 6 points of spacing before and after. Level 3 Titles should be in Times New Roman, italics (non-bold), with 6 points of spacing before and after. Each table, photograph, or figure must have a concise title. Figures should be self-explanatory and visually readable without requiring reference to the main text.

Discussion

The methodological approach used and the results obtained should be discussed in accordance with established academic standards. At least five (5) authors should be referenced within the discussion section.

The purpose of this event

The purpose of this Theological Symposium on Christology was to lay the framework for the 21st century Church from the vantage point of Christology as the nexus for every other field of theological endeavor.

Your beliefs about Christology will shape your Theology, which pertains to your understanding of God. These beliefs will also influence your views on Anthropology, determining your perspective on Man. Likewise, your Christological understanding will impact your views on Soteriology, the nature of salvation. It will affect your stance on Eschatology, regarding the nature of the end of things, and guide your beliefs about Ecclesiology, the nature and mission of the church.

A word from Prof. Shawn Smith, Chancellor of Theosis Higher Institute

” This year 2025 marks a significant milestone: 1700 years since the first ecumenical council at Nicea in 325 A.D. affirming the unity of faith in Christ Jesus: Truly God and Truly Man. This remains foundational to our mutual faith in the Head of the Church, the Savior of the world.

After the departure of the first century Apostles, the Church in the Patristic age was confronted with rising views and doctrines that questioned the very identity of Jesus Christ, the foundation upon which the Church is established. The post-Apostolic Church Fathers had to address these questions, formulating a Christology that addressed the heretical influences from the Greek and Jewish cosmological world while establishing a firm and creedal identity of Jesus Christ.

Our Ancient Faith is Christological. It is everything related to the Person and Saving Work of Christ. The challenges faced by the 21st century Church can be traced back to our understanding of Christology, the Person and the Work of Christ, for Christology is the nexus point of all aspects of Theology. This indicates to us that if the 21st century Church is to rise and effectively fulfill Her mission in the midst of all challenges in our contemporary world, we must have an honest theological appraisal of the historical development of Christology in the Patristic Age, celebrating the Church Fathers and drawing from their works the ancient wisdom and Christological hermeneutic that is being passed down throughout the Church Age. “

Dr. Shawn Smith

Dr. Shawn Smith is an esteemed Theologian, Ordained Minister, Founder and Apostolic Overseer of Gospel of Christ Ministries (GCM), a growing network of churches across Cameroon, with unified communities in the United States, Canada and Europe. With an impactful leadership that spans more than two decades, Dr. Smith is a respected authority on the teachings of the Apostle Paul. He has the divine commission to “present the revelation of Christ Jesus, the loveliness of His Person and the perfection of His work, with excellence and clarity for the rising of the Glorious Church.” He has dedicated himself to inspiring a renewed understanding of Christoformity through his ministry.

Dr. Annie Smith

Dr. Annie Smith is an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who exhibits the unique qualities of the grace of God. She is married to Dr. Shawn Smith, the Apostolic Overseer of Gospel of Christ Ministries, and she shares in the divine mandate, “to present the revelation of Jesus Christ, the loveliness of His Person and the perfection of His work with excellence and clarity for the rising of the Glorious Church”. Committed to this mission, Dr. Annie leads diverse evangelistic outreaches and has organized numerous seminars for women through Heart to Hearts, a platform that addresses the spiritual well-being of women, purpose, grace, community, destiny, wholeness, education, marriage, and stewardship. She is the founder of the Youth Social Development Program (YSODEP), an NGO dedicated to empowering young adults to embrace their God-given purpose and become transformative leaders.

Rev. Dr Théophile Obaker

From Mission Évangélique Vie et Paix du Cameroun (MEVIPAC), Dr. Théophile Obaker is a Socio-anthropologist of Religions, a jurist, a pedagogical supervisor, an author, missionary, historian and a writer. He descends from a transgenerational family who have held the mystic secret of the faith of Christ with a pure conscience. He has distinguished himself as an expert in Cameroon’s church history, especially of the revival church in our nation Cameroon. Dr. Obaker holds a Chair of religious history at the Institut Biblique de Théologie Evangélique (IBTE), Institut de Théologie Pentecôtiste de la MEVIPAC (ITPM), and the Ecole du Ministère Pastoral le Bon Levain (EMPBL).

Dr. Georges Boum

Dr Georges is a man of God from Cameroon N2N Christian University with multiple talents. He has a solid academic background in Journalism, Computer Science, Psychology and Intercultural Theology. As an expert in Christian communications, he is the publishing director of Media Christ and a consultant to CRTV and other media. Since the beginning of 2024, he has been the leader of the American university in Cameroon, and Nation 2 Nation Christian University (N2NCU), headquartered at the Cameroon Presbyterian Church where he coordinates the activities of the 3rd church service at the large EPC Adna parish in Yaoundé at Elig-Essono Rue CEPER.

Apostle Dr. François Tchidjé

Apostle Dr. François Tchidjé is an experienced theologian, Founding President and Apostolic Overseer of Living Stones Ministries International (MILIS), a Christian organisation present in 12 countries and with over 7,000 members worldwide. MILIS aims to build and deploy transformational leaders around the world so that each individual can reach their full potential by combining spirituality, personal development and entrepreneurship. Recognised as a Doctor of the Word, Dr François Tchidjé exercises a profound, structuring and transformational teaching ministry in the service of building up the Body of Christ.

Bishop Ndi Wilson Njinwi

Bishop Dr N. N. Wilson is the presiding Bishop of Garden of Life Ministries worldwide; an ever-growing network of churches. He is the CEO of a Christian television channel – Life TV – which is broadcasted around Africa. He was a trained accountant from the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA, Glasgow University) before receiving an Apostolic call into the ministry. He is the Chancellor of Wells of Salvation International School of Ministry. He is a holder of several certificates and graduate diplomas in Theology from Bible Training Centre for Pastors, Douala, Cameroon; Theosis Higher Institute, Douala, Cameroon and has a PhD in Systematic Theology from The Ambassador Seminary and University of Kumba, Cameroon, an Affiliation of Dayspring Christian University U.S.A.

Rev. Dr. Jean Libom Li Likeng

Rev. Dr. Jean Libom Li Likeng is a trained theologian in contemporary Christianity from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. He is equally an expert in conflict resolution, a consultant in mental health and trauma management, coaches several Christian associations and acts as a consultant in church management and leadership. Reverend Likeng has a brilliant university academic background in zoology. By the grace of God, he has distinguished himself in service in the Lord’s vineyard in various capacities.

Prof. Fohle Lygunda

Prof. Fohle Lygunda, Professor of missiology, leadership and contextual theology; co-administrator of the Association des Théologiens d'Afrique Francophone, ATAF, and manager of Tearfund's theological department in Africa. He is also attached to North-West University (South Africa) and Bakke Graduate University (Texas, USA), where he directs post-graduate work. He is the author of several scholarly books, including Transforming Missiology (Langham, UK, 2018), Des missiologies importées (Langham, UK, 2023) and Contextualisation Aujourd'hui (FLP, RDC, 2023). He is the founder of the Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche et d'Innovation (CIRI), which supervises researchers in the postdoctoral program.

Joseph Mfonyam

Joseph N. Mfonyam has been a missionary with SIL Cameroon and Wycliffe Bible Translators, UK, since 1981. He is a Bible Translator, a Linguistics and Translation Consultant. He has been involved with teaching and training for more than four decades. He has taught courses in Cameroon, France, England, USA and Canada. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary, Ndu. He has a passion for souls and has been involved in personal and world evangelism, discipleship and leadership training for years. He has attended conferences on world evangelism in Africa, Europe USA and Asia.

Dr. Shawn Smith

Dr. Smith is equally the chancellor and founding president of Theosis Higher Institute, an internationally accredited theological institution committed to the apostolic and patristic vision of the universal Lordship of Jesus Christ. Founded in 2014, Theosis Higher Institute has become a distinguished theological centre, attracting students globally and fostering a deep commitment to the Apostolic vision that helped shape the church in its nascent age.

His commitment to global ministry extends through his Prelateship of Christ Commission International (CCI), a fellowship aimed at equipping ministers to convey the Gospel of Grace with grace. Through CCI conferences across Africa, Europe, and the Americas, Dr. Smith has helped shape the spiritual lives of over 25,000 ministry leaders, training and ordaining several of them into ministry. A major thrust of his ministry consists of philanthropic outreaches to the underprivileged in society including widows, orphans and prisoners. With numerous awards and honours recognising his contribution to Church unity and ecumenism, Dr. Shawn Smith remains a profound influence on Christian thought, dedicated to fostering the mission of Christ until the whole world hears. He is married to Dr. Annie Smith, an ordained Minister of God and collaborator in the divine mandate.

Dr. Annie Smith

In her academic career, Dr. Annie Smith serves as an Associate Professor, lecturer in universities, and has authored several books. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Commerce and Distribution Management from the Catholic University of Central Africa (2001 and 2003), and a doctorate in Management Sciences from the University of Douala (2022). Her teaching career includes roles at the University of Bamenda Higher Institute of Commerce and Management, the University of Douala’s Advanced School of Economics and Business (ESSEC) and St. Jerome Catholic University. In 2023, she was appointed Associate Professor by The African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES).

Dr. Annie has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. She frequently serves as a keynote speaker at international conferences. Much of her research interests include in Marketing Information Systems and Customer Relationships, Public Service, and Market-Oriented Management. She is a Certified Trainer with the prestigious American Marketing Association and has been actively involved in Consulting and Executive Education. She has worked with a variety of companies, including Libya Oil Cameroon, Société Commerciale du Cameroun (TRADEX), and Orange Cameroon.

Her philanthropic work includes founding and overseeing organizations like A New World Altogether (NWA), Institute for Professional Practices (IPP), and the African Gospel Association for Prisoners Evangelism (AGAPE), which support the sick, refugees, widows, orphans, and prisoners in Cameroon and neighbouring countries. Her dedication to humanitarian work was honoured with the Cameroonian National Humanitarian Award in 2014. Dr. Annie Smith is also an entrepreneur, having founded companies such as MAJ'S Travel & Services, Basileia Insurance, and the Centre for African Nations Education and Research on Public Administration (CANERPA). Her union with Dr. Shawn Smith is blessed with five children.

Apostle Dr. François Tchidjé

He is also President of the PRADI association (Professionnels Avec Différence), a platform for promoting ethical leadership and responsible entrepreneurship. In this capacity, he is piloting a project to empower women in vulnerable situations, funded by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). Launched in February 2025 in Yaoundé, the project aims to build women’s economic and social capacities through training in agriculture, livestock farming and e-commerce, thereby contributing to their economic inclusion and resilience in the face of socio-economic challenges.

A recognised expert in transformational leadership, human potential development and strategic management with over 18 years’ experience, he helps leaders, organisations and institutions discover their full potential, lead change and achieve sustainable performance.

His unique approach combines managerial excellence, deep spiritual grounding and personalised coaching. He is the author of numerous training manuals in various fields. Apostle Dr. François Tchidje is a versatile theological scholar with research interests in areas such as: contextual and applied theology, theology and socio-economic development, theology and anthropology, transformational leadership, spiritual leadership, and social and ethical entrepreneurship.

Apostle Dr. François Tchidje has made significant contributions in theological scholarship, including: a doctoral thesis proposing an innovative approach to ecclesial governance based on transformational leadership, and the authorship of the book titled, ‘‘Lève-toi et vis’’ (in English, ‘‘Get up and live’’).

Rev. Dr Théophile Obaker

He is currently an Associate researcher at the Centre National des Phénomènes Nouveaux (National Centre for New Phenomena), Auditor at the Groupe Sociétés, Religions, Laïcités (GSRL - Group on Society, Religion and Secularism). He is a keen listener of the work of Professor Sébastien FATH of the CNRS-EHEE, a leading specialist in Evangelicalism in the world.

As a man of science, Dr. Obaker has contributed richly in the scientific activities of a variety of organisations in Cameroon and abroad. In this vein, He was the Organiser and scientific contributor to the 1st Colloquium of the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon (2018) under the theme: ‘Sixty years of Pentecostalism in Cameroon, what challenges for the Church of Revival’. He was the Organiser and scientific contributor to the Conference to present the Proceedings of the Colloquium (2019).

Dr. Obaker was also a Scientific contributor to the Yaoundé International Colloquium (2022) organised within the framework of interreligious dialogue by the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (CENC) and the John Paul II Center/Rôme on ‘the admissibility of the papal encyclical Fratelli Tutti by the New Religious Movements’.

Dr. Obaker was Organiser and scientific contributor to the Samuel NJIE OBAKER International Symposium of the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon (2022) under the central theme: ‘A look at the multiple dynamics of social inclusion in the Revival Church'

Dr. Obaker is a lifelong student of theology and is currently pursuing another doctorate degree in theology at Christosis International Theological and Professional University (CITPU). He has equally contributed as an author of several articles in a variety of scientific journals.

Dr. Obaker is a holder of several Certificates and Attestations in Arts of Ministry Institutional. He is a leader of several platforms of the Body-of-Christ such as Bidécennale SNO, AEC, SYNERGIE, Top Pastors Cam Africa, CEEPEC, ACADIR, CNECEC, CNAC. He is a Member of the Académie Paulienne, he is the promoter of the platform of expertise and documentation and information centre known as the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon.

Dr. Obaker is the chairman of the board of trustees of the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon, and the project manager at the general secretariat of the MIVEPAC. He is the secretary general of the mission lead for revival in Cameroon namely “Synergie pour le réveil au Cameroun”. He is equally the general president of the NGO, Bethel Charité and the list goes on and on. In addition to his numerous theological training and qualifications, Dr. Obaker holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in private law and an Advanced Professional Graduate Diploma in Marketing.

Dr. C. Baxter Kruger is a theologian, a Trinitarian scholar, a writer and the Director of Perichoresis Ministries, an international ministry proclaiming the gospel of the Triune God. A lifelong student of psychology, Dr. Kruger has degrees in Political Science, Divinity, and earned his PhD of Philosophy from Kings College, Aberdeen in Scotland. He has worked as a minister to college students, a lecturer in theology at the University of Aberdeen and other universities, and as an associate pastor. Nowadays, he teaches and preaches around the USA and abroad.

As a Trinitarian theologian of modern times, Dr. Baxter has reformed the church's vision of God by reviving and masterfully expounding the ancient apostolic and patristic understanding of the triune God as love. He has published a number of books and technical papers in Linguistics, Bible translation and theology. He is a conference speaker. Joseph feels called at to pray and come along people to counsel and support them. He is a resources person of both church leaders and civil leaders. He is married and he and his wife, Rev Becky Mfonyam, have five grown up children.

Introduction et Contexte

Theosis Higher Institute invite les universitaires, les chercheurs, les étudiants de troisième cycle, les théologiens et les pasteurs à participer à son symposium théologique sur la Christologie.

Le symposium, dont le thème est « Pour nous et pour notre salut, Il S’est fait homme », vise à poser le cadre théologique de l’Église du 21e siècle en examinant la Christologie en tant que lien de toutes les disciplines théologiques, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, la Sotériologie, l’Ecclésiologie, l’Herméneutique, la Pneumatologie, la Charismatique, la Triadologie, l’Eschatologie, la Sociologie, l’Anthropologie et l’Ethique.

En reconnaissant que la compréhension de la Personne et de l’œuvre de Jésus-Christ a un impact profond sur tous les autres domaines de la Théologie, ce symposium cherche à favoriser une appréciation plus profonde du développement historique de la pensée christologique, en particulier en s’inspirant de l’Âge Patristique et des résolutions des quatre premiers conciles œcuméniques.

Le symposium de cette année revêt une importance particulière puisqu’il marque le 1700e anniversaire du premier concile œcuménique de Nicée (325 après J.-C.), qui a affirmé l’unité fondamentale de la foi en Jésus-Christ, véritablement Dieu et véritablement Homme.

Dans un monde confronté à de nombreux défis, le symposium explorera comment une Christologie solide permet à l’Église d’accomplir efficacement sa mission, en offrant espoir et vérité dans l’esprit des premiers Pères de l’Église qui ont répondu avec diligence aux questions sur l’identité du Christ.

Nous encourageons les contributions qui s’engagent de manière significative dans le développement historique de la Christologie, célèbrent les éclairages des Pères de l’Église et explorent les implications d’une compréhension Christologique pour l’Église contemporaine.

Sous-thèmes et domaines d’intérêt : Les articles attendus portent sur les domaines suivants, mais ne s’y limitent pas :

La Personne de Jésus-Christ : Perspectives historiques et contemporaines.
La Véritable Nature et l’Œuvre de Jésus-Christ telles qu’elles ont été comprises dans les cinq premiers siècles de l’Église.
Les résolutions Christologiques des quatre premiers Conciles Œcuméniques et leur pertinence actuelle.
La Christologie en tant que point de rencontre de diverses disciplines théologiques (Sotériologie, Ecclésiologie, etc.).
L’influence de la pensée cosmologique Grecque et Juive sur les premiers débats Christologiques.
Le développement d’un modèle Christologique pour l’Eglise du 21ème siècle.
Les implications de la Christologie pour les défis contemporains auxquels l’Eglise est confrontée.
La contribution de la sagesse antique et de l’herméneutique Christologique à l’âge Patristique.
La christologie et la mission de l’Église dans le monde moderne.
La défense apologétique de la foi Chrétienne par le biais d’une Christologie solide.

Public cible

Ce Symposium Théologique sur la Christologie a pour but de rassembler des universitaires, des chercheurs, des étudiants de troisième cycle d’institutions théologiques, des théologiens et des pasteurs. Le Symposium cherche à encourager l’engagement et la discussion sur la Personne et l’œuvre de Jésus-Christ et ses implications pour les différentes disciplines théologiques dans l’Église du 21e siècle.

Instruction aux Auteurs

Les auteurs sont invités à soumettre des manuscrits originaux et inédits en français ou en anglais. Ces manuscrits ne doivent pas avoir été publiés antérieurement ni faire l’objet d’un examen en vue d’une publication ailleurs. Veuillez envoyer un fichier électronique contenant un résumé (une page maximum) ou un projet de recherche (cinq pages maximum, interligne simple), avec le titre de l’article et vos coordonnées complètes, à contact@theosisinstitute.life ou laissez une copie imprimée à notre Centre de Ressources, à Deido, au Cameroun. Adresse: Rue Bonajinge Deido, Douala, en face de la boulangerie Saker Deido.

Format de Soumission

Le format de soumission doit respecter les instructions suivantes:

Page de couverture: La page de couverture doit inclure:
- Le titre (maximum 20 mots).
- Le(s) nom(s) et prénom(s) complet(s) de l’auteur (des auteurs) ainsi que son (leurs) adresse(s) professionnelle(s).
- Son (leurs) numéro(s) de téléphone WhatsApp.
- Un astérisque (« * ») marquant le nom de l’auteur à qui la correspondance (manuscrit pour corrections, etc.) sera adressée.
- L’adresse ou les adresses de l’auteur ou des auteurs, y compris le ou les numéros de téléphone.
Deuxième Page: La deuxième page contiendra uniquement:
- Le titre de l’article.
- Un résumé en Français ou en Anglais.
- Quatre ou cinq mots-clés.

Format du Texte: Le texte principal doit être saisi sur Microsoft Word, avec les spécifications suivantes:

- Police : Times New Roman, taille 12.
- Format de papier : format A4.
- Marges : 2,5 cm de chaque côté.
- Interligne : simple.
- Longueur : 5 pages maximum.
Tableaux, diagrammes et images: les tableaux, diagrammes, images et autres ajouts doivent idéalement être insérés directement dans le texte ou placés en annexe. Les sections doivent être numérotées hiérarchiquement (par exemple, 1., 1.1., 1.1.1., etc.).
Mise en forme d’éléments spécifiques:
- Titre : Times New Roman, taille 18, gras.
- Nom de l’Auteur : Times New Roman, taille 14, gras.
- Résumé et Sommaire : Titres « Résumé » et « Sommaire » en Times New Roman, taille 16, gras ; contenu en Times New Roman, taille 12.
- Titre 1 : Times New Roman, taille 14, gras.
- Titre 1.1 : Times New Roman, taille 12, gras.
- Conclusion : Times New Roman, taille 14, gras.
- Bibliographie : Titre « Bibliographie » en Times New Roman, taille 14, gras ; contenu en Times New Roman, taille 12, formaté comme suit :
  - Livres : Nom de famille de l’auteur et initiale du prénom, (année de publication), Titre du livre, Éditeur, Lieu de publication (exemple : Mintzberg, H. (1994), Grandeur et décadence de la planification stratégique, Dunod, Paris).

Les articles sélectionnés seront publiés dans un numéro spécial de l’une des revues nationales et internationales avec lesquelles nous collaborons.
