Dr. Shawn Smith

Dr. Shawn Smith

Dr. Shawn Smith is an esteemed Theologian, Ordained Minister, Founder and Apostolic Overseer of Gospel of Christ Ministries (GCM), a growing network of churches across Cameroon, with unified communities in the United States, Canada and Europe. With an impactful leadership that spans more than two decades, Dr. Smith is a respected authority on the teachings of the Apostle Paul. He has the divine commission to “present the revelation of Christ Jesus, the loveliness of His Person and the perfection of His work, with excellence and clarity for the rising of the Glorious Church.” He has dedicated himself to inspiring a renewed understanding of Christoformity through his ministry.

Dr. Smith is equally the chancellor and founding president of Theosis Higher Institute, an internationally accredited theological institution committed to the apostolic and patristic vision of the universal Lordship of Jesus Christ. Founded in 2014, Theosis Higher Institute has become a distinguished theological centre, attracting students globally and fostering a deep commitment to the Apostolic vision that helped shape the church in its nascent age.

His commitment to global ministry extends through his Prelateship of Christ Commission International (CCI), a fellowship aimed at equipping ministers to convey the Gospel of Grace with grace. Through CCI conferences across Africa, Europe, and the Americas, Dr. Smith has helped shape the spiritual lives of over 25,000 ministry leaders, training and ordaining several of them into ministry. His vision for unity within the Church also led to the inception of the Festival of Blessings, an annual event that brings together diverse Christian denominations to worship, pray, and collaborate to advance Christ’s mission.

Dr. Smith is also a certified consultant in Human Rights and International Diplomacy Protocol, Professor in Sacred Theology, Academic Dean of American Seminary, and Founding President of Ambassadors International College and Gifted Kids Christian Academy, both pioneering institutions in Christian education in Cameroon. A prolific author and international speaker, Dr. Smith has published over twenty (20) books, including Bible commentaries, and is the editor of The Shawn Smith Compendium of Paul’s Epistles, which offers theological insights into the epistles of Apostle Paul. His written works, notably the daily devotional In Christ Devotions and Jesus Christ + 0 = Everything, have been widely circulated, reaching believers across multiple languages and continents.

A major thrust of his ministry consists of philanthropic outreaches to the underprivileged in society including widows, orphans and prisoners. With numerous awards and honours recognising his contribution to Church unity and ecumenism, Dr. Shawn Smith remains a profound influence on Christian thought, dedicated to fostering the mission of Christ until the whole world hears. He is married to Dr. Annie Smith, an ordained Minister of God and collaborator in the divine mandate.

Dr. Annie Smith

Dr. Annie Smith is an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who exhibits the unique qualities of the grace of God. She is married to Dr. Shawn Smith, the Apostolic Overseer of Gospel of Christ Ministries, and she shares in the divine mandate, “to present the revelation of Jesus Christ, the loveliness of His Person and the perfection of His work with excellence and clarity for the rising of the Glorious Church”. Committed to this mission, Dr. Annie leads diverse evangelistic outreaches and has organized numerous seminars for women through Heart to Hearts, a platform that addresses the spiritual well-being of women, purpose, grace, community, destiny, wholeness, education, marriage, and stewardship. She is the founder of the Youth Social Development Program (YSODEP), an NGO dedicated to empowering young adults to embrace their God-given purpose and become transformative leaders. Her published works include Burning with Purpose, Glossolalia: The Benefits of Praying in Tongues, and the bestselling Homolegeo (Confessions).

In her academic career, Dr. Annie Smith serves as an Associate Professor, lecturer in universities, and has authored several books. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Commerce and Distribution Management from the Catholic University of Central Africa (2001 and 2003), and a doctorate in Management Sciences from the University of Douala (2022). Her teaching career includes roles at the University of Bamenda Higher Institute of Commerce and Management, the University of Douala’s Advanced School of Economics and Business (ESSEC) and St. Jerome Catholic University. In 2023, she was appointed Associate Professor by The African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES).

Dr. Annie has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. She frequently serves as a keynote speaker at international conferences. Much of her research interests include in Marketing Information Systems and Customer Relationships, Public Service, and Market-Oriented Management. She is a Certified Trainer with the prestigious American Marketing Association and has been actively involved in Consulting and Executive Education. She has worked with a variety of companies, including Libya Oil Cameroon, Société Commerciale du Cameroun (TRADEX), and Orange Cameroon.

Her philanthropic work includes founding and overseeing organizations like A New World Altogether (NWA), Institute for Professional Practices (IPP), and the African Gospel Association for Prisoners Evangelism (AGAPE), which support the sick, refugees, widows, orphans, and prisoners in Cameroon and neighbouring countries. Her dedication to humanitarian work was honoured with the Cameroonian National Humanitarian Award in 2014. Dr. Annie Smith is also an entrepreneur, having founded companies such as MAJ'S Travel & Services, Basileia Insurance, and the Centre for African Nations Education and Research on Public Administration (CANERPA). Her union with Dr. Shawn Smith is blessed with five children.

Apôtre Dr Francois Tchidjé

Apostle Dr. François Tchidjé

Apostle Dr. François Tchidjé is an experienced theologian, Founding President and Apostolic Overseer of Living Stones Ministries International (MILIS), a Christian organisation present in 12 countries and with over 7,000 members worldwide. MILIS aims to build and deploy transformational leaders around the world so that each individual can reach their full potential by combining spirituality, personal development and entrepreneurship. Recognised as a Doctor of the Word, Dr François Tchidjé exercises a profound, structuring and transformational teaching ministry in the service of building up the Body of Christ.

He is also President of the PRADI association (Professionnels Avec Différence), a platform for promoting ethical leadership and responsible entrepreneurship. In this capacity, he is piloting a project to empower women in vulnerable situations, funded by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). Launched in February 2025 in Yaoundé, the project aims to build women’s economic and social capacities through training in agriculture, livestock farming and e-commerce, thereby contributing to their economic inclusion and resilience in the face of socio-economic challenges. 

A recognised expert in transformational leadership, human potential development and strategic management with over 18 years’ experience, he helps leaders, organisations and institutions discover their full potential, lead change and achieve sustainable performance.

His unique approach combines managerial excellence, deep spiritual grounding and personalised coaching. He is the author of numerous training manuals in various fields. Apostle Dr. François Tchidje is a versatile theological scholar with research interests in areas such as: contextual and applied theology, theology and socio-economic development, theology and anthropology, transformational leadership, spiritual leadership, and social and ethical entrepreneurship.

Apostle Dr. François Tchidje has made significant contributions in theological scholarship, including: a doctoral thesis proposing an innovative approach to ecclesial governance based on transformational leadership, and the authorship of the book titled, ‘‘Lève-toi et vis’’ (in English, ‘‘Get up and live’’).

Apostle Dr. François Tchidje holds a Bachelor’s Degree in theology and a PhD in theology with specialisation in transformational leadership from Harvest Christian University International, Washington. He also holds a graduate diploma in theology from Theosis Higher Institute. He equally holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Buea.

Rev. Dr. Theophile Obaker

Rev. Dr Théophile Obaker

From Mission Évangélique Vie et Paix du Cameroun (MEVIPAC), Dr. Théophile Obaker is a Socio-anthropologist of Religions, a jurist, a pedagogical supervisor, an author, missionary, historian and a writer. He descends from a transgenerational family who have held the mystic secret of the faith of Christ with a pure conscience. He has distinguished himself as an expert in Cameroon’s church history, especially of the revival church in our nation Cameroon. Dr. Obaker holds a Chair of religious history at the Institut Biblique de Théologie Evangélique (IBTE), Institut de Théologie Pentecôtiste de la MEVIPAC (ITPM), and the Ecole du Ministère Pastoral le Bon Levain (EMPBL).

He is currently an Associate researcher at the Centre National des Phénomènes Nouveaux (National Centre for New Phenomena), Auditor at the Groupe Sociétés, Religions, Laïcités (GSRL - Group on Society, Religion and Secularism). He is a keen listener of the work of Professor Sébastien FATH of the CNRS-EHEE, a leading specialist in Evangelicalism in the world.

As a man of science, Dr. Obaker has contributed richly in the scientific activities of a variety of organisations in Cameroon and abroad. In this vein, He was the Organiser and scientific contributor to the 1st Colloquium of the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon (2018) under the theme: ‘Sixty years of Pentecostalism in Cameroon, what challenges for the Church of Revival’. He was the Organiser and scientific contributor to the Conference to present the Proceedings of the Colloquium (2019).

Dr. Obaker was also a Scientific contributor to the Yaoundé International Colloquium (2022) organised within the framework of interreligious dialogue by the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (CENC) and the John Paul II Center/Rôme on ‘the admissibility of the papal encyclical Fratelli Tutti by the New Religious Movements’.

Dr. Obaker was Organiser and scientific contributor to the Samuel NJIE OBAKER International Symposium of the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon (2022) under the central theme: ‘A look at the multiple dynamics of social inclusion in the Revival Church'

Dr. Obaker is a lifelong student of theology and is currently pursuing another doctorate degree in theology at Christosis International Theological and Professional University (CITPU). He has equally contributed as an author of several articles in a variety of scientific journals.

Dr. Obaker is a holder of several Certificates and Attestations in Arts of Ministry Institutional. He is a leader of several platforms of the Body-of-Christ such as Bidécennale SNO, AEC, SYNERGIE, Top Pastors Cam Africa, CEEPEC, ACADIR, CNECEC, CNAC. He is a Member of the Académie Paulienne, he is the promoter of the platform of expertise and documentation and information centre known as the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon.

Dr. Obaker is the chairman of the board of trustees of the Pentecostal Academy of Cameroon, and the project manager at the general secretariat of the MIVEPAC. He is the secretary general of the mission lead for revival in Cameroon namely “Synergie pour le réveil au Cameroun”. He is equally the general president of the NGO, Bethel Charité and the list goes on and on. In addition to his numerous theological training and qualifications, Dr. Obaker holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in private law and an Advanced Professional Graduate Diploma in Marketing.

Bishop Ndi Wilson Njinwi

Bishop Dr N. N. Wilson is the presiding Bishop of Garden of Life Ministries worldwide; an ever-growing network of churches. He is the CEO of a Christian television channel – Life TV – which is broadcasted around Africa. He was a trained accountant from the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA, Glasgow University) before receiving an Apostolic call into the ministry. He is the Chancellor of Wells of Salvation International School of Ministry. He is a holder of several certificates and graduate diplomas in Theology from Bible Training Centre for Pastors, Douala, Cameroon; Theosis Higher Institute, Douala, Cameroon and has a PhD in Systematic Theology from The Ambassador Seminary and University of Kumba, Cameroon, an Affiliation of Dayspring Christian University U.S.A.

Dr. C. Baxter Kruger

Dr. C. Baxter Kruger is a theologian, a Trinitarian scholar, a writer and the Director of Perichoresis Ministries, an international ministry proclaiming the gospel of the Triune God. A lifelong student of psychology, Dr. Kruger has degrees in Political Science, Divinity, and earned his PhD of Philosophy from Kings College, Aberdeen in Scotland. He has worked as a minister to college students, a lecturer in theology at the University of Aberdeen and other universities, and as an associate pastor. Nowadays, he teaches and preaches around the USA and abroad.

As a Trinitarian theologian of modern times, Dr. Baxter has reformed the church's vision of God by reviving and masterfully expounding the ancient apostolic and patristic understanding of the triune God as love. He has brought great clarity and insight in the church's comprehension of Christology by manifesting the truth in the consciences of many that God is Christlike and there is no God behind the back of Jesus. He is greatly esteemed by men of God worldwide as a church father.

Dr. Baxter has been married for 34 years to Beth Kruger and their union is blessed with four children and grandchildren. He is the author of 9 books, including Across All World: Jesus Inside Our Darkness, The Great Dance: The Christian Vision Revisited, Jesus and the Undoing of Adam, God is For Us, Home, The Mediation of Jesus Christ, Parable of the Dancing God, Trinitarian Conversations, the international bestsellers: The Shack Revisited: There is More Going On Here Than You Ever Dared to Dream, and more recently Patmos: Three Days, Two Men, One Extraordinary Conversation. For 30 years, he has traveled the world proclaiming the good news of our inclusion in Jesus and His relationship with His Father in the Spirit. He is also the founder and President of Mediator Lures.

Rev. Dr Jean Libom

Rev. Dr. Jean Libom Li Likeng

Rev. Dr. Jean Libom Li Likeng is a trained theologian in contemporary Christianity from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. He is equally an expert in conflict resolution, a consultant in mental health and trauma management, coaches several Christian associations and acts as a consultant in church management and leadership. Reverend Likeng has a brilliant university academic background in zoology. By the grace of God, he has distinguished himself in service in the Lord’s vineyard in various capacities including:

Dr Georges Boum

Dr Georges is a man of God from Cameroon N2N Christian University with multiple talents. He has a solid academic background in Journalism, Computer Science, Psychology and Intercultural Theology. As an expert in Christian communications, he is the publishing director of Media Christ and a consultant to CRTV and other media. Since the beginning of 2024, he has been the leader of the American university in Cameroon, and Nation 2 Nation Christian University (N2NCU), headquartered at the Cameroon Presbyterian Church where he coordinates the activities of the 3rd church service at the large EPC Adna parish in Yaoundé at Elig-Essono Rue CEPER. Despite his status in the Protestant church, he has been involved in revival and unity movements in the body of Christ for 17 years.

In 2002, he was a founding member of the Dynamic FM radio station in Douala. In 2004, he was a founding member of Radio Campus at ESSTIC, part of the University of Ngoa Ekélé. In 2014 he was a project manager at the Gospel Musical Award, at Drimp Foundation, and accompanied several gospel ministers. Since 2016, he has chaired the Board of Directors of the International Christian Forum (ICF), which promotes governance through Christian ethics. His vision and heartbeat is to see God's name restored in the constitution of our beautiful country, for its unprecedented glorious radiance.

Prof. Fohle Lygunda

Prof. Fohle Lygunda

Prof. Fohle Lygunda, Professor of missiology, leadership and contextual theology; co-administrator of the Association des Théologiens d'Afrique Francophone, ATAF, and manager of Tearfund's theological department in Africa.

He is also attached to North-West University (South Africa) and Bakke Graduate University (Texas, USA), where he directs post-graduate work. He is the author of several scholarly books, including Transforming Missiology (Langham, UK, 2018), Des missiologies importées (Langham, UK, 2023) and Contextualisation Aujourd'hui (FLP, RDC, 2023). He is the founder of the Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche et d'Innovation (CIRI), which supervises researchers in the postdoctoral program.

Joseph Mfonyam

Joseph Mfonyam

Joseph N. Mfonyam has been a missionary with SIL Cameroon and Wycliffe Bible Translators, UK, since 1981. He is a Bible Translator, a Linguistics and Translation Consultant. He has been involved with teaching and training for more than four decades. He has taught courses in Cameroon, France, England, USA and Canada. He is an adjunct faculty member of the Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary, Ndu. He has a passion for souls and has been involved in personal and world evangelism, discipleship and leadership training for years. He has attended conferences on world evangelism in Africa, Europe USA and Asia.

He has published a number of books and technical papers in Linguistics, Bible translation and theology. He is a conference speaker. His latest book is, Awake O Christians and Serve the Lord in Truth Vol III, Marriage and the Family. It is available on Amazon and other media platforms. Joseph feels called at to pray and come along people to counsel and support them. He is a resources person of both church leaders and civil leaders. He is married and he and his wife, Rev Becky Mfonyam, have five grown up children.
