How to become a student
To become a student you must meet admission requirements and register by contacting the Theosis Higher Institute admission office. For inquiries about Theosis Higher Institute, please write to the following address: infotheosisinstitute[at]gmail.com.
Requirements for registration
Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree Program.
This section concerns you if you have never been enrolled at the Theosis Higher Institute or have been there but never obtained any Diploma.
General Requirements:
- Applicants must have earned a GCE Advanced Level Certificate or its equivalent from an accredited institution of learning before they can be admitted to study at the Theosis Higher Institute.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (as studies at Theosis Institute are done solely in the English language) is an added advantage. A language Proficiency test will be carried out as for students who do not express themselves primarily in English.
- A non-refundable application fee of fifteen thousand francs CFA (15.000 FCFA) is to be paid and the receipt submitted.
The following documents are to be submitted at the Theosis Higher Institute Admission Office:
- Filled Application form (To be collected at the Admission Office),
- Copy of Medical Certificate,
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate,
- Copy of National ID Card. or Passport,
- 01 (one) presentable file for personal document,
- 2 Passport size photographs,
- GCE Advanced level Certificate or its equivalence,
- Letter of motivation,
- One pastoral reference,
- 01 (one) Ream of paper,
- Receipt of application fee (15.000Frs).
Bachelor Degree Program.
This section concerns you if you have graduated from Theosis Higher Institute before with at least a Diploma in Theology or at most an Associate Degree in Theology.
Application for Bachelor of Theology Program:
- Copy of previous certificate (Diploma, Advanced Diploma or the Associate Degree) obtained from Theosis Higher Institute,
- Copy of result slip,
- Non-refundable registration fee of 15,000FCFA,
- Fill out the application form,
- Personal Statement: All bachelor’s program applicants answer the following question: In a statement of 500 words or fewer, describe what draws you to your desired major/area of study? What is your intended outcome upon degree completion?
Master Degree Program.
This section concerns you if you have graduated from Theosis Higher Institute before with at least a Bachelor of Theology.
Application for Master of Theology Program:
- Fill out the Application Form
- Application fees (Nonrefundable): 15,000FCFA
- Copy of Bachelor degree obtained from Theosis Higher Institute,
- Official Transcripts
- Resume: Your current resume or curriculum vitae should include your previous education, relevant work history, volunteer or service work, and any additional information you would like the Admissions Committee to know about your background,
- Personal Statement: All master’s program applicants answer the following question: In a
Statement of 500 words or fewer describe and reflect on your life journey and the vocational directions toward which you are pointed.
